Where did I get experience

A primarily jewelry and watch company, with products found in many big box retailers, such as Forever 21, Aldo, Walmart, Target, Burlington, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s; I was in charge of their technology department named iTouch Wearables. Many products were designed, produced and launched throughout my employment at AX|NY such as the iTouch Air, iFitness, iTouch Air 2, and iFitness Ultra.
Some of my everyday responsibilities included below, but not limited to:
- Collaborated closely with marketing team to determine future product lines by reviewing product specifications and market requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product and packaging changes.
- Traveled internationally to negotiate pricing and evaluate factories to determine if qualified to meet global quality standards.
- Implemented and enforced quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
- Assessed market trends by comparing company product to competitors’ products
- Determined product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; and tailored orders.
- Prepared short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses for past and future product lines.

Marketing & Business Development Manager
A special inspection agency certified by the NYC Department of Buildings, to perform various safety inspections during the construction of high rise buildings in the NYC area. Many prominent high rise building were successfully contracted during my tenure at the company, including the Nordstrom Tower on West 57th, One Manhattan Square, and the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square to name a few.
Some of my everyday responsibilities included below, but not limited to:
- Directed the composition of Request for Proposals (RFPs) for new business development, increasing the company’s attempt of securing new clients.
- Created marketing collateral highlighting company strengths and employees’ certifications for inclusion in new business proposals, extending the influence of the company throughout the industry.
- Designed periodical branding materials such as; company brochures, client presentations, and qualification packages.
- Built complex Excel tools to enable automated tracking and quantifying of data, replacing our outdated manual approach of documentation.
After graduating from Brooklyn College with a degree in Marketing, I was promoted to Marketing Manager in charge of a few stores in the area.
Some of my everyday responsibilities included below, but not limited to:
- Managed regional wide social media marketing campaign on major sites such as; Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, boosting company followers by 40% in under a year. Advertising
- Coordinated in the creation and design for company website, strengthening the company’s brand recognition within the community by 45%.
- Designed and placed marketing collateral to aid product launches and promotions all through the store, increasing the length of time customers are in the store by 35%.
A leader in the industry, I was given control and jurisdiction over one of their many locations.
Some of my everyday responsibilities included below, but not limited to:
- Trained and led sales staff to exceed monthly sales goals by 20% by fully utilizing our Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).
- Managed daily operations, handling inventory worth as much as $120,000, and managing 20 vendors. Market
- Increased speed and effectiveness by 30% by implementing automated franchise-wide sales tracking to replace manual form-writing process.
- Implemented a budget which cut costs dramatically by 35% in the first 6 months, decreasing our losses and increasing our profit margin (P&L).
- Managed all Business-to-Business, Business-to-Consumer and Business-to-Government (B2B, B2C, B2G) sales, regarding all things mobile, which includes: Tablets, Mobile Devices, and Jetpacks.

Some of my everyday responsibilities included below, but not limited to:
- Exceeded weekly sales goals of $50,000 by implementing effective merchandising techniques, such as, holiday themes, and created interactive presentations that played alongside the printed marketing collateral.
- Directed and supervised employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking and reconciling cash receipts.
- Prepared schedules according to payroll policies for 20+ employees weekly.
